Tiemme's product range includes a high performance insulated multilayer pipe used for hydronic radiator heating.
Tiemme's multilayer pipe, with “AL-COBRAPEX" trade name, is available in rolls and can be used with compression fittings and press fittings.
Generally the direct supply and return lines to the radiators are in 16mm x 2.0mm pipe and the main feed supply and return lines are sized based (rule of thumb) on the kW requirement eg. for a system around 20kW requirement use size 20mm x 2.0mm feeder pipes. for a 25kW requirement use size 25mm x 2.5mm feeder pipe etc..
Generally the hotter supply lines are piped with lagged red pipe and the return lines in lagged blue pipe.
